It's worth thinking carefully before choosing a domain name - after all, it may become the name by which your business is known.
It's important to get your domain name before anyone else does. If you company has a three letter name, forget it - all the three letter combinations are taken, as are most four letter combinations. Common words, common surnames and so on are also usually taken.

Domains name do not cost a lot of money - a .co.uk name costs no more than £10 a year. Setting up a basic, one page web site telling clients who you are, what you do, and how to contact you will cost about £30, and this will give you as many email addresses as you need under your own domain name.
